About Me, My Site & Reviews

I’m Dale Cruse and I’ve been creating websites for high-profile clients ranging from the U.S. Army to Bloomingdale’s for more than a decade. I have an active freelance web development career and am listed among the Twitterati as being a leader in social media. I’ve been a guest lecturer several times at the Art Institute of New England.

My writing has appeared in The Second Glass, Bostonist, Eat Drink or Die, Boston.com, and more. I’m interested in appearing in your publication too. Email me if you have something in mind. I’ve been interviewed in the Washington Post and N.Y. Times and featured in Mutineer Magazine.

I’m a proud member of the Boston Wine Writers and have been described as “the king of Boston wine bloggers.” “The court jester of Boston wine bloggers” is probably more like it! In 2009 I was inducted as a member of the Wine Century Club for having tasted more then 100 different grape varietals.

This site is listed as being among the elite blogs about wine. It’s also ranked among the top 30 wine blogs at Cellarer and in the top 30 at Alawine.

Ever read a wine review that didn’t make sense? That’s not what I do. I once read a review that likened a white wine to “the sound of a flute in a still meadow.” What the fuck does that even mean?! Plain and simple, you won’t find that shit here. I write in a language all can understand and lack pretentiousness.

I’m open to receiving wine samples but probably won’t write about them. If you still want to, send them to:
